Victim critically injured in late Sat. West Main shooting


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A victim is in critical but stable condition after a late Saturday night shooting in the 800 block of West Main St. Charlottesville Police were dispatched to West Main near 7th St NW at 11:17 p.m. August 16 to find a man with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers immediately administered life-saving first aid until EMS arrived and the victim was transported to UVA.

Detectives believe multiple individuals may have witnessed the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
