Multi-national titlist Alex Walsh swimming at UVa another year

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – “Goodbyes are hard… good thing I get one more to practice mine”.
With that, Alex Walsh announced on Instagram she will be swimming one more year at UVa. The oldest of the Walsh sisters, Alex has announced she’s using COVID eligibility and coming back for a fifth year at the University of Virginia.

Going 3-for-3 with individual NCAA titles in the 200 and 400 IM and 200 breast, Walsh and her sister Gretchen helped the Hoos this past season to their 4th straight NCAA team title. Walsh has won a total of eight individual NCAA titles during her four years so far with the Cavaliers.
