CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Virginia Lottery announced that a ticket bought in Madison is one of five $1-million-dollar winners in the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle drawing.
The ticket was purchased at the Food Lion at Madison Plaza off Route 29.
The other four big winners were purchased in Bealeton, Burke, Alexandria, and Hopewell.
There are seven additional $100,000 winners, and another 1,000 tickets worth $500.
The clock is now ticking on the winners, who has 180 days to claim their prizes, or forfeit them.
