UPDATE: Missing Albemarle County Teen Found Safe

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW)UPDATE (5:47PM) The missing person alert for 17-year-old Miley Anna Duncan-Medico has been cancelled.

Albemarle County Police confirmed Duncan-Medico was located safely on the evening of November 19, 2024. Duncan-Medico had been reported missing after she was last seen at Albemarle High School on November 18. Police released a surveillance photo earlier in the day to aid in the search. Authorities thanked the community for assisting in sharing information during the search.

Albemarle County Police are asking for help finding 17-year-old Miley Anna Duncan-Medico, who hasn’t been seen since Monday. She was last spotted at Albemarle High School. Duncan-Medico is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has dyed red or pink hair. She was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, grey sweatpants, and dark sneakers, as shown in the surveillance photo police released from the day she disappeared.
