Dave Matthews Band’s Bama Works Fund announces new round of grants

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Dave Matthews Band’s Bama Works Fund has awarded end-of-year donations to 141 hometown organizations to support programs that serve community members in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange.

Grants totaling $740,000 will be used to meet critical needs at a time when families are struggling to make ends meet. Among the targeted areas are housing and food insecurity, arts education, and clean air initiatives, among others.

The latest round of giving rounds out $10,000,000 for the year.
