Cville among top on two WalletHub college town rating lists

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A WalletHub survey ranks Charlottesville as the 9th-best overall college town in the United States, and the 2nd-best small college town.

Charlottesville sits between top-ranked Ann Arbor, MI in the top spot and Berkeley, CA in 3rd on the small town list.

Top-10 overall in order are Austin, TX; Ann Arbor, MI; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC; Tempe, AZ; Atlanta; Reno, NV; Cville; then Gainesville, FL.

Rating high in WalletHub’s criteria are Charlottesville #1 in the nation in unemployment rate, 13th in quality of higher education, 30th in change of population age 25-plus with bachelor’s degree or higher, and 39th in city accessibility.
