State health department reports West Nile cases, urges prevention

RICHMOND (WINA) – The Virginia Department of Health is reporting a dozen West Nile Virus cases from multiple regions of the state, and urges preventing mosquito bites. The department urges using insect repellents, covering up when going outside, keeping mosquitos outside, and eliminating mosquito breeding habitats.
