PALMYRA (WINA) – Fluvanna County Public Schools are on a 2-hour delay this morning after an online threat on social media. School administrators say they were informed by law enforcement that a threat of violence was shared through a social media platform for Fluvanna County High School.
A team of county sheriff’s deputies, through communcation with school officials, were able to identify the location of the individual and began an on-site investigation.
There is no credible threat at this time but out of an abundance of precaution and the ability to follow up on additional information gathered from the initial investigation, FCPS are on a 2 hour delay.

There will be no Ext. Ed this morning and any adjustments to this schedule will be made by 815.
