‘Breaking Bad’ spinoff confirmed

The days may be numbered for AMC’s hit “Breaking Bad,” but that doesn’t mean you’re going to have to say goodbye to all of your favorite characters.

Huffington Post reports that AMC and Sony have confirmed a “Breaking Bad” spinoff starring Bob Odenkirk.

The one-hour drama, “Better Call Saul,” will follow the story of Saul Goodman before he becomes Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) lawyer.

An official order for the series has yet to be made, but deals with Odenkirk, producer Peter Gould and creator Vince Gilligan are in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Breaking Bad” will finish its fifth and final season on Sept. 29.
