Wintergreen Celebrates Longer Season

Wintergreen is going into unchartered territory thanks to an unusually cold and snowy winter. Vice President Jay Roberts says never before has the resort been able to open on November 30th and remain in operation until April 5th.¬†Extra snow means extra work for Wintergreen’s seasonal employees, and a little extra sweat on Roberts’ brow, as well. The resort says it’s possible they’ll be open on April 12th should conditions hold and there be enough public interest.
