Virginia will get a new chief executive in less than ten days, and he will be the first governor since the Vietnam era who’s never held public office. Democrat Terry McAuliffe (pictured) won less than 48% of the vote in a three-man race. Many Virginians say voters remain polarized, and the differences between Northern Virginia and the rest of Virginia have been more pronounced.
