Virginia overcame a valiant effort from Virginia Tech, and a poor shooting night from two of its stars to earn a 57-53 win over Virginia Tech. Malcolm Brogdon and Joe Harris started the game 0-9, and 2-13 from the three point line. But the Cavaliers stayed persistent in the second half led by late threes from Justin Anderson and Joe Harris to take a stranglehold of the game. FIFA President Sepp Blatter and his possible successor, European soccer chief UEFA Michel Platini, have been provisionally suspended for 90 days, the ethics committee of football's global governing body said.
