Toscano Wants To Look At Tax Breaks That Become Permanent

How long should a tax break stay on the books? Delegate David Toscano wants to look at that in the upcoming General Assembly. Toscano says there are corporate tax breaks that, once given, never go away. He wants to see if there’s any way to make them less set in stone, especially the ones that don’t do what they’re intended to do such as create jobs. Toscano says a commission was appointed to look into it, but they never have really done much.
