Sutherland Principal Rogers Retiring

The principal at Sutherland Middle School is leaving. David Rogers is retiring after 43 years in public education. The county says Rogers deserves a lot of credit for making the Standards of Learning scores at Sutherland among the best in Virginia. Rogers has received awards from the governor’s office and the state board of education. He’s been the principal at five schools in the city and county.
