Supervisors Vow To Communicate With Property Owners During Road Work

The Albemarle supervisors say they want to stay in touch with property owners during construction of the 29-Rio interchange. Supervisors’ Chairwoman Jane Dittmar (pictured second from right) wants businesses and commuters to be on an equal footing with VDOT during future discussions of major road improvements. Dittmar has shared her goals with fellow supervisors, including Ken Boyd (pictured left), Diantha McKeel (pictured second from left), and Ann Mallek (pictured right). The Commonwealth Transportation Board will consider the Rio-29 project and other features of a more than $203 million package at a June 18th meeting.
