Some charges have been dropped against two people previously named in the case of Kevin Wayne Quick (pictured). The charges will no longer be pursued against 20-year-old Mersadies Shelton and her brother, 18-year-old Daniel Mathis. They were previously accused of possessing an SUV belonging to Quick. Louisa Commonwealth’s Attorney Rusty McGuire took that action Tuesday. Shelton and Mathis still face some other charges.
