Residents of the city’s Birdwood and Hillcrest Roads are glad an interchange where McIntire Road meets the 250 Bypass should be finished by next summer.
They still want to make sure they won’t feel “penned in” by the project. Consultant Owen Peery has told the residents they won’t get all of the entrances and exits they want. Some of the neighbors (pictured) want to restrict parking on Hillcrest Road, and they want assurances their area won’t lose too many trees. All five city councilors attended a Wednesday night session that dealt with the project.
