The President of Radford University will soon move into Halwyck, a renovated historic house. It was built in 1892 by Virginia’s 43rd governor, John Hoge Tyler, and it predates the founding of Radford. The property and its renovation came after gifts of more than $1.2 million dollars to the Radford University Foundation. Penny Kyle (pictured), who holds a law degree from the University of Virginia, has been Radford’s President since 2005.
