Obenshain Promotes Gillespie’s Senate Bid

The Republican who ran for attorney general last fall wants conservative voters to support Ed Gillespie in the U.S. Senate race. Harrisonburg State Senator Mark Obenshain (pictured) says Gillespie would be a big improvement over Democrat Mark Warner. Gillespie is competing against three others for the GOP nomination at the June 7th convention in Roanoke. Obenshain was the guest speaker at this month’s breakfast for area Republicans.
