Madison County School Bus Hits VDOT Truck

A Madison County school bus with 39 children on board ran into the back of a parked V-DOT truck Wednesday afternoon. It happened on northbound Route 29 at Fairground Road, where V-DOT crews were mowing the roadside. The truck was parked in the right lane with its warning signals out. Two of the children were taken to UVA Medical Center for minor injuries. The V-DOT truck driver was taken to a┬álocal hospital. The bus’ driver, 42-year-old Edna Broyles of Rochelle, was charged with reckless driving.

Only arguing remains in Sterling trail
