A man has died after one of Virginia’s final hunting accidents of 2013. Thomas Michael Harris died New Year’s Eve, which was one day after he was accidentally shot in Sussex County. Harris was hit with shotgun pellets after a fellow hunter fired at a moving deer, but missed his intended target. The 61-year-old was wearing blaze orange clothing. A decision on possible charges will be made by the Sussex County Commonwealth’s Attorney.
