Girl Becomes UVA Hospital’s First Baby Of 2014

A little girl from Culpeper is the University of Virginia Hospital’s first baby of 2014. Isabella Nicole Puente arrived at 2:34 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Isabella weighs just under seven pounds and three ounces. She helped UVA win a decades old battle for bragging rights with Martha Jefferson Hospital. Isabella is the daughter of Apolinar Puente and Tania Alcantar-Chaires of Culpeper.
