Charlottesville Man Wounded In Knife Attack

A city resident has survived a knife attack. The 32-year-old victim was found shortly after 2 a.m. Monday on 7-and-a-Half Street. City Police Lieutenant Ronnie Roberts says investigators think the crime happened near South 1st Street and Lankford Avenue. The victim was brought to UVA Medical Center with non-life-threatening cuts to one arm and his upper torso. There have been no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 977-4000.
