Area Retiree Gets Jackpot Thanks To A Scratcher Game

The Virginia Lottery has a scratch game called “Hit the Jackpot” and a retiree managed to do that with his purchase at a store on Cherry Avenue in Charlottesville.  John Blair III (pictured) won $200,000 thanks to a ticket he bought at the Tom Thumb Market. Blair says he will save his winnings to pay the bills.
