Justin Bieber has won a motion to have his DUI trial delayed until July.
The “Baby” hitmaker’s lawyers asked for a postponement earlier this week and on Wednesday, Florida Judge William Altfield granted the request.
The 20-year-old was originally due in court on May 5 to face charges relating to his arrest in January, when he was allegedly caught drag racing on the streets of Miami.
Following the arrest he was slapped with counts for DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired license – accusations he has since denied.
Bieber is now due in court on July 7.
He is also facing prosecution in Toronto, Canada, where he stands accused of hitting a limousine driver during a night out in December. The assault case has been continued until May 12.
